Why I created The Calming Kit

I created The Calming Kit after living through the exhaustion of parenting a child with big, intense emotions. When my eldest son was very young, our days felt unpredictable and challenging. What I didn’t understand then was that he wasn’t being difficult, he just had huge emotions that he didn't understand, and I didn't know what to do with them. The Calming Kit was born from learning how to support regulation in real, practical ways, and from wanting other parents to have something tangible to reach for when words aren’t enough.
